REMINDER: Denver B-cycle Last Day of the Season is 12/9/11

By bft Dec 01, 2011 | 4:50PM

Reminder!
The Denver B-cycle system will be closing for the winter starting on December 9th at 11pm.  As much as it makes us sad to put the bikes away for the winter, closing the system temporarily will allow us to focus our attention on our 2012 system expansion plans.

Before we end the 2011 season, you can make your last trip count. You helped us distribute the bikes for the season, so why not come help us collect the bikes and celebrate another great season of B-cycling. We need you to ride B-cycles to our headquarters at 2737 Larimer Street and then celebrate all the great rides we took this year with a happy hour next door at The Meadowlark starting at 5pm! However, you can bring B-cycle's to our headquarters all day starting at 9am. Just knock on the door closest to the station with your B-cycle and we will help you out. The first 85 riders to come turn in their B-cycle will receive a free RTD Ticket to get home compliments of RTDTo sweeten the deal anyone who rides a B-cycle to our office gets their first beer for free courtesy of The Meadowlark.

In addition, anyone who wants to purchase a Denver B-cycle Annual Membership Holiday Gift Certificate can do so in person with cash or credit card.  Walk in with payment, walk out with a gift!

We can double our rides!

Our members currently have taken 196,698 trips during the 2011 season, which means we are only 9,264 rides away from doubling the number of trips taken last season. If everyone who reads this email rode a bike twice each day we would easily double our trips.  Plus you could win prizes in our ridership contest!  Please help us meet this monumental goal and ride a B-cycle as much as you can before December 9th!
